Reports are circulating that the New Zealand Rugby Union is set to confirm a new sponsorship deal with American Insurance company AIG.
With a history of supporting major sporting brands, most notably in their role as key sponsor for Manchester United between 2006-2010, it is thought that AIG would replace Iveco in the All Blacks’ stable of sponsors.
While it was rumoured several months ago that the proposed sponsorship deal would see the AIG logo plastered across the front of the famous black jersey (http://rugbyshirts.net/no-longer-all-black-possible-aig-jersey-sponsorship-deal-5627.html ) it now appears that logos on the sleeve and shorts will be the extent of the signage, as far as the playing kit goes.
